1984: Na Leo records their first single “Local Boys” with the help of KIKI radio station and Brown Bags to Stardom. The 45 rpm vinyl single goes on to become the biggest selling single in hawaii history, according to KIKI Station Manager Jeff Coelho.
Na Leo celebrates their 40th anniversary in 2024.

2019 Na Hoku Hanohano Awards
Na Leo Pilimehana won Contemporary Album of the Year for Beautiful Day in 2019. This is Na Leo's 23rd Na Hoku Hanohano Award. Na Leo has won Hoku Awards in each of the past 4 decades - 80’s, 90’s, 2000’s, and 2010’s.
